Building regs within Singapore require sites to replace 100% of the green space that they’re built on, the ultimate goal is to restore nature and biodiversity back into the landscape in a sustainable way.
Singapore is small and very densely populated, you wouldn’t think there’d be much room for planting, so in order to achieve this goal the buildings themselves are covered in plants!
