This is the shampoo ginger plant (Zingiber zerumbet) which grows naturally in Hawaii and tropical parts of Asia. It can be squeezed to release a silky liquid that’s used by many as shampoo and conditioner, leaving hair smooth and shiny 💁🏼♀️
Want to try it out for yourself? Good news, it can be grown as a houseplant! Just keep in mind it needs a warm and humid environment. 🪴
